Be a friend to the trails.  Join the KTC!

The KTC is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers who maintain the "Kek" and other backpacking trails within the Superior National Forest.  The KTC was organized to promote, protect, and preserve those trails in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service and area resorts and outfitters.   Without the efforts of the KTC volunteers, only one-third of all the trails in the Superior National Forest that existed twenty years ago would exist today.

You can help by becoming a member, and by volunteering for a trail project which the KTC organizes each spring.  The club also has ongoing planning and special events.  We appreciate our volunteers, and invite them to engage in the club's activites year round.
